3004 AD: The SF-EB-Earle has landed on the rogue moon Charybdis on the first manned mission beneath the moon's frozen surface after its entrance into the solar system.

The amphibious exploration mech Hynobius, piloted by Maria Abner and Professor Bo Scrander, is sent to scout the cave system beyond the depth that unmanned drones can effectively function.

still water those ewho no :skull: :skull: :Skull: :skull"

SO . . .
How many secrets are there?  I want to see if we can find them all.

Wow just wow. That ending was unexpected.

it says I'm not playing it on an official site.

Thanks for the heads-up. Should be fixed now.

Magnifique, on est dans le jeux pendant toute la partie, de bon mécanisme de gameplay... A quand un 2 ?

Incredible work! Send my regards to hairy, I didn't know they were working on this! Cheers!

This game is amazing!

Fantastic game. Congrats to your entire team. Let it be from a presentation standpoint or otherwise

Didn't really expect the game to have as good a sense of tension as it has. Really great job there.

Spoilers for the story ( Though this is just my interpretation ) :

I'm guessing this moon used to be earth until it got covered completely by water and what we saw was the remains of it ? ( Something like the movie " Waterworld " maybe )

The only questions I have left are who was that alien and what the heck was the hand in the end

Still, really interesting story that had me hooked

i love, i love the story man, its, its beatiful

Lots of fun! Well done!

Deleted post

THATS THE ENDING??

What a cool find, I was hooked the second I saw the gif with the grappling hook. I was not expecting such an interesting story though!

This game was awesome!! Is there a way I could download the soundtrack? I love the music! It's so soothing for the first two areas, and the final area is still soothing and charming in a way!

Of course! You can get the soundtrack here or listen to it on YouTube here.

So so good! Really well made dreadful atmosphere, and also super fun to play!

What I also really wonder about:
What exactly was the deoth meter on the right even measuring?
Like, even when you stood still in a cutscene, the thing moved uü and down...
As if it was tracing... something completely different...

be it the other guy (or his corpse)...
or another entity...

Hm, in the area around 1036 depths, in the red area.
How do I advancee there?

There are 2 hostile(?) plants there and a barrier to the left but i cant do anything to either of them :-(

how do I advance there?

Just beat it.

I have no idea what I jsut played but it was good.
And I'd wish to know more now :-(

Are there multiple endings? I want a different one.

For those who didn't take the time to decode the transmissions from the other mech, here's what I got:

You again.
How many times will I be made to watch this farce?
You cannot even understand my words.
Yet I must continue to try.
Turn back.
If you will not turn back, then abandon hope of escape.
It will be less cruel that way.
There is no above to this below.
It is simply an echo of what will come to pass.

Also, that hand looked like it could have been his.

time loop? That sounds like a time loop

Just finished playing and was absolutely blown away with how immersed (and tense at certain parts) I was in this!!

Loved the sprite work and gameplay was solid (really enjoyed jetting around with the tether lines). Writing was enjoyable, really got me into banter with Maria and Bo (especially with the scientific elements) as it really made me vibe with them on the journey.

Would love to see a Floe 2 to go back and explore more of Charybdis and this world!

Loved the game (and the spritework)! Exploring Charybdis reminded me of the Metroid games! Keep it up!

The art looks cool, and I had fun!

awesome game

Very interesting—an underwater Event Horizon with aspects of Ecco the Dolphin (similar late moves, too). It would be great to develop this further.

Wow! Sucha fantastic game!

Wow, genuinely didn't expect the game to take a Lovecraftian Horror approach, but either way his was an amazing game. I'd pay for a longer version of this game with more mechanics, like different suits and weapons and so on. Good luck in your future projects and hopefully we'll get to explore this universe even more!

Really hit good on the fear of the unknown at the ending. The fear of something with something familiar but yet that we can't fully understand why it's here or what is going on.
